I wish I had her life

Ordinary Girl

As I wake up every morning.
The early call of rooster gets me up and running.
I greet my family and give them a kiss as I rush to the kitchen and fix me up some grub.
Eager to catch the bus to school, I get dressed.
I put on t-shirt and pants. Comfortable enough to last for the day.
I walk through the noisy school hallway and meet up with some buds.
They seem to be ignoring me- again, kissing up to those popular among the student body.
I roam to find my real friend waiting for me beside my locker.
Share a few morning laughs.
The bell rings, I rush to class.
Along with my classmates, we go through activities.
Then, homeworks.
Lunch time aproached, my favorite time of the day.
I glance through tables, hoping to find an empty seat.
Luckily enough, I get one.
I chat for a few, glance a few to this guy and go to my next class.
GYM!
Climb ropes, Run miles, Throw balls... OUCH!
I wait for the bus and have enough time to go home and work.
Feed animals, Clean the house, Water the plants, then homework.
Still, I have this beautiful night sky view from the grass below.
I lay down. Looking up. Listen to the cool breeze's whisper, and count the stars.
I then look up and see a girl so beautiful in a wonderful castle's balcony.
I wish I had her life.

A Princess

As I wake up in the morning.
I get sweet and gentle hellos and greetings.
I get a kiss in the hand and breakfast comes rushing to me.
I point a finger to an outfit.
Next thing I know, I'm wearing it.
It's pretty itchy but it's needed for glamour.
I must bare.
The Limo comes and gets me to my tutor.
I walk to an empty hallway along with two muscular men beside me.
No words are uttered. Complete silence. Just the sound of my heels.
Some officials come and greet me. Rich kids in the building bow.
I want to roam yet I'm not allowed.
I get to class.
Along with 3 more girls and 2 guys, we begin.
Lesson for today- speaking french.
We're served high class meals with bland taste.
We don't leave the room.
I glance to a prince. Then I look away. Next,
SPORTS CLASS
Archery, Golf, Chess... UGH!
We're not allowed to have such busy sports.
I'm escorted to the limo and then I go home.
I sign papers, take photographs, attend meetings, then piano lessons.
Still, I have this beautiful night sky view from my balcony.
I look up, listen to the cool breeze's whisper and count the stars.
I then look down and see this simple girl from the grass below, so relaxed and free.
Who seems to be looking at me.
I wish I had her life.

(A shooting star appeared that night)
